Xaris Staff

Scott Kawamura is a native of Sacramento, but spent 23 years of his life in Southern California, before returning in 2005. He loves to play with his kids and watch anything related to USC football. While growing up, his boyhood idols were Bruce Lee and Ultraman, but now that he has two kids, it’s his wife Lora. In the past, Scott was involved in starting a church in Torrance, California, and is now excited about starting another new church here in his hometown. Becky Okamoto is also a native of SacTown. She attended college at CSUS where she met husband, Rodney. She and Rodney also moved "south" after marriage… to Elk Grove, where they have lived since 1990. They have one daughter, Cami, and are anxiously awaiting news on a new baby daughter from China. Tom Morgan enjoys helping others in their journey with Christ. Currently at Xaris, he assists with teaching on Sunday mornings, leads small group studies & spiritual retreats, and coordinates the mission & outreach efforts of the church. He also is a trained spiritual director and offers this ministry to interested men and women in the Sacramento region. He has been married to his wonderful wife, Lisa, since 1989 and is the proud father of one daughter, Sarah Ann.
